The AREAA Diversity & Fair Housing Summit is a multi-day event in which AREAA members from across the country gather in Washington, D.C. to present issues that affect AAPI homeownership to their representatives, receive political training, and advocate for important policy points. This includes AREAA’s Annual Three-Point Policy Plan, an outline of bills that align with our goals to increase sustainable AAPI homeownership. The Diversity & Fair Housing Summit takes place in May and corresponds with National Asian American and Pacific Islander Cultural Heritage Month. I was deeply honored and thankful that I have attended this informative and well attended summit!
